Playing Online

Call of Duty is bought mostly for playing online with other players in the world with the same console as you. If you do play online, you may meet people from Mexico, or England, but mostly in our area we meet people from Canada or America.
This is in the map overflow.

And if you have a microphone or a headset you can communicate with them too. There are many different game modes and variations of the game modes available for you to play. There is Team Deathmatch where two teams of 4-6 kill each other to 75 kills or reach the time limit. There is also a game mode called Domination where there are three flags and you get points by capturing and holding them, each game is upto 200 points and a ten minute score limit. This game mode is my favourite along with Kill Confirmed. In it, after someone dies, they leave a dog tag on the ground. If it's pink, its your teammate's, if its yellow, its an enemy's, you get points by collecting the yellow dog tags.

Here is a pink dog tag in the map Nuketown, a DLC map.

There are many more like Free For All, Demolition, Capture the Flag, Search and Destroy, Ground War, Moshpit which is everything. These are also in Hardcore in which it is easier to kill and die, and there is no minimap except when there is a spy plane up. In each multiplayer lobby, which is where you join before the game starts, you can customize your class, check your barracks etc. and also choose what map. There are two different maps you can choose from in each lobby and you go there after every game.
This is for normal Team Deathmatch and the person is currently trying to join a lobby.
Some game modes like Demolition, Search and Destroy, and Capture the Flag have rounds and how many depends on how much it is out of, i.e. Demolition is out of 3, and Search and Destroy is out of 7. Search and destroy is out of so much because this is the only game mode where you don't respawn after dying, though some game modes like Sabotage and Capture the Flag have delayed respawn timings. Well hopefully you learned a lot about multiplayer today and enjoy the clip of online gameplay by a member of our clan, Karan!
