Killstreaks/Scorestreaks

This is the Orbital Vsat.

Like I said in one of the previous posts, you get killstreaks by killing people without dying. You can choose them in the main menu or a pre-game lobby. The higher the killstreak the more kills you need to get. The original ones were spy plane, air strike, and an attack helicopter. Since then, Care Package was added, attack dogs, chopper gunner, nuke/moab etc. But ever since MW3 they were called scorestreaks and if you planted a bomb, or captured a flag it would help in the process of gettin a scorestreak. In MW3 there were also support killstreaks, and you could get them even if you died. This angered many people and upset the CoD community. In Black Ops 2 the favourite scorestreaks are swarm and orbital Vsat.
The swarm is a bunch of hunter killer drones
kill the enemies. It is the highest killstreak.

Other popular killstreaks are the Lodestar, K9 Unit, and the Vtol Warship. These are all very high killstreaks and are hard to get. There also is the Escort Drone, Stealth Chopper, Sentry Gun, Guardian, and more.

This is the Lodestar.
Well I hope you learned about killstreaks!

Playing Online

Call of Duty is bought mostly for playing online with other players in the world with the same console as you. If you do play online, you may meet people from Mexico, or England, but mostly in our area we meet people from Canada or America.
This is in the map overflow.

And if you have a microphone or a headset you can communicate with them too. There are many different game modes and variations of the game modes available for you to play. There is Team Deathmatch where two teams of 4-6 kill each other to 75 kills or reach the time limit. There is also a game mode called Domination where there are three flags and you get points by capturing and holding them, each game is upto 200 points and a ten minute score limit. This game mode is my favourite along with Kill Confirmed. In it, after someone dies, they leave a dog tag on the ground. If it's pink, its your teammate's, if its yellow, its an enemy's, you get points by collecting the yellow dog tags.

Here is a pink dog tag in the map Nuketown, a DLC map.

There are many more like Free For All, Demolition, Capture the Flag, Search and Destroy, Ground War, Moshpit which is everything. These are also in Hardcore in which it is easier to kill and die, and there is no minimap except when there is a spy plane up. In each multiplayer lobby, which is where you join before the game starts, you can customize your class, check your barracks etc. and also choose what map. There are two different maps you can choose from in each lobby and you go there after every game.
This is for normal Team Deathmatch and the person is currently trying to join a lobby.
Some game modes like Demolition, Search and Destroy, and Capture the Flag have rounds and how many depends on how much it is out of, i.e. Demolition is out of 3, and Search and Destroy is out of 7. Search and destroy is out of so much because this is the only game mode where you don't respawn after dying, though some game modes like Sabotage and Capture the Flag have delayed respawn timings. Well hopefully you learned a lot about multiplayer today and enjoy the clip of online gameplay by a member of our clan, Karan!

Clans

What is a clan? A clan is a group of members who fight other clans for points and fame, much like the gladiators of Rome. But they are lead by one leader, kind of like a tribe. Like I said in the previous post, Sniper Rifles are hard to use, and some people run around with them zooming in and shooting, it is hard to learn and takes practice and is called quickscoping. In games made by Infinity Ward like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, it is very easy to quickscope. But in games made by Treyarch it is harder since they make it inaccurate for the first second you zoom in, there fore there are different techniques for quickscoping. For Infinity Ward you shoot just before you zoom in, and in Treyarch, you shoot just after you zoom in.

This is our logo made by Shoaib.
My clan is the BOYZ clan. We are not a quickscoping clan, just a normal competitive one. There are currently only 5 members. They are Shoaib, Adam, Karan, Shariq and me. We have a YouTube channel, a Twitter and a Facebook page. The clan was started by Karan and we just made it from then. To make it we had to go to the CoD ELITE webpage and create one. A clan can be enrolled in competitions to make its level go higher and the higher you get the more awards you get, for example double XP (you get twice as much experience points), or a special clan tag.

This is the OpTic clan logo.
There are many famous clans like Faze or OpTic, these clans are mostly known for their quickscoping ability like in the next video.
This is the Faze clan logo.
And below is a trick-shot video by Faze Clan

But quickscoping isn't the only way to be known, you just have to be good without using overpowered weapons like the video below by ScumperJumper from the OpTic clan.

To make a clan on Call of Duty ELITE clan, you must first have an account on it and linked either your Xbox Live or Playstation Network account. Then under the Browse tab, go on Clan HQ and there you can make a clan. To get XP to level up you can either compete in competitions where you can enroll in, in ELITE or recruit more members. The maximum amount of people in a clan is 100 people. Well hopefully you learned about CoD clans today and see you next time!

Introduction To Call of Duty

Hey Guys! Welcome to the violent world of CoD, a game of guns and explosives. You can make your own class and play against other people in the world. A class is a place where you choose a gun, a secondary smaller gun and the perks and explosives you are given. We'll talk about that later on in the post. There are currently 9 CoDs out there, the 3rd - the rest are for PlayStation3, while the Xbox 360 has all of these and the second one too. PC has all of them, and the Wii has CoDs 3-5,7-9. The latest one is Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
2 companies alternate in making CoD, Infinity Ward, which is mostly known for its Modern Warfare series, and Treyarch which is mostly known for its Black Ops series. But CoD itself is owned by a company called Activision.

Starting from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (the fourth one) you could customize the weapons, attachments for the weapons and the perks you can use. There are different types of guns in the game; for primary weapons, there are Submachine Guns, Assault Rifles, Shotguns, Light Machine Guns, Sniper Rifles, and occasionally the Specials which only consist of the Assault Shield. Submachine Guns are small and portable and are meant for close combat, usually full automatic, but in Black Ops II there is a three burst SMG.
This is the PDW-57, one of the more popular SMGs in Black Ops II.
Assault Rifles are a little heavier but they have less recoil and work best in mid range, there are fully automatic, three burst and semi-automatic assault rifles.
Here is the Type 25, an assault rifle in Black Ops II.
Shotguns are for very close range, but when they are, they are deadly. The stronger ones are the pump action ones where you have to push out the shell when used by a pump motion, and there are also semi-automatic shotguns.
This is the Remington 870 MCS, a very popular shotgun in Black Ops II.
Light Machine Guns, ironically are very heavy and are like assault rifles, but stronger and a little more range. They are all fully automatic.

This is the LSAT a popular LMG in Black Ops II.
Sniper Rifles are for long range and are one shot, one kill. But the downside is that they take a long time to zoom in and are hard to aim with. The more powerful ones are bolt-action, and the weak ones are semi-automatic.

This is the DSR 50, a bolt action Sniper Rifle in Black Ops II.
The Special Class consists of only the Assault Shield with which you bash people and can block bullets with, but you have to right next to the person first.

This is the Assault Shield which you can plant in
the ground and shoot over it with your gun.
But it can take damage and then you will be killed.
The secondary weapons are pistols, launchers and occasional specials, and machine pistols.
Pistols are for when your primary weapon runs out of ammunition, or your magazine runs out. They were usually semi-automatic but in Black Ops II there is a three-burst pistol and a fully automatic pistol too.

This is the Tac-45 pistol,  a very powerful semi-automatic pistol.
Launchers come with very little ammo, maybe 1 or 2 rockets, there are some used for shooting down, and there are others that just kill people.
This is the RPG, a very popular rocket launcher and has been in many CoDs.
The specials class in BOII consists of the Ballistic Knife and Crossbow, both specialties of Treyarch. And the machine pistols is Infinity Ward's Specialty.

This is the explosive crossbow with a sticky tip.
This is the MP9 from MW3, it is a fully automatic pistol.
CoD also has perks which allow you to replenish your ammo from dead bodies just by walking over them or else you have to die or pick up another dead player's gun. Or they allow you to hide from killstreaks, run faster, run longer etc.
It also has killstreaks so if you kill an x amount of people without dying you get a killstreak, which can be a helicopter, that kills the enemy, or a plane that reveals the enemy's position.
Well Hopefully you have a better understanding of CoD now after reading this post, later on we'll learn about clans, my clan, and more!
